Groups Urge DOE to Withdraw Anti-Consumer Furnace and Water Heater Rule
CFA and others filed comments with the Department of Energy urging the agency to withdraw it proposed and supplemental proposed interpretive rules relating to residential furnaces and commercial water heaters. The letter to DOE pointed out that the proposal is flawed, unclear, not justified and appears to be an effort to keep inefficient products on the market which would harm consumers through unnecessary energy costs.
