Groups Urge DOE Secretary Granholm to Implementing Executive Order 13990
In a group letter to DOE Secretary Granholm, we urge the secretary to fully implement Executive Order 13990: Protecting Public Health and The Environment and Restoring Science to Tackle the Climate Crisis. As the agency is almost certain to miss its own year-end deadlines for reversing harmful appliance standards rules issued under the prior administration. Prompt action to complete these reversals is an essential step to get the appliance standards program back on track, catching up on missed legal deadlines as well as meeting upcoming ones.
