Consumer Groups Submit Comments to FCC Regarding Advanced Methods to Target and Eliminate Unlawful Robocalls
In comments submitted to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), consumer groups commend the FCC for its leadership in addressing the escalating problem of unwanted robocalls, and offer strong support for the FCC's consideration of the creation of a reassigned number database. The groups offer a number of suggestions for what an effective reassigned number database would entail, and emphasize the need for successful database to maintain liability for robocalls to cell phones made without consent.
