CFA Joined with Other Advocates In Providing Extensive Comments to DOE on Moving Forward with Money-Saving Energy Efficiency Rulemakings
CFA joined with ASAP, ACEEE, NCLC and NEEP in providing the Department of Energy (DOE) with suggestions on priority actions the Department should take.
They are as follows:
- DOE must advance all rulemakings with legal deadlines.
- DOE should move quickly to undue the harmful rules finalized under the Trump administration.
- DOE should complete three discretionary rulemakings that are already far along, i.e. dedicated purpose pool pump motors.
- DOE should consider initiating rulemakings for additional products not currently covered by federal standards, i.e. air purifiers, portable electric spas.
