Product Safety

Consumers deserve products that do not threaten their health or safety, no matter how or where the products are purchased. CFA's product safety advocacy focuses on protecting consumers, especially children, from unsafe products. Our work spans state, federal, and international levels, including engagement with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and participation in both voluntary and mandatory standard-setting processes domestically and internationally.
