Public Interest Spectrum Coalition Urges FCC to Unleash Mid-Band Spectrum

CFA TC

In comments submitted to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the Public Interest Spectrum Coalition (PISC) urges the Commission to maintain its 2015 Citizens Broadband Radio Service rules, as adopted, and use similar spectrum sharing frameworks to unlock mid-band spectrum for a wide variety of use cases and improve broadband in unserved and underserved areas. PISC also believes the Commission should free up more unlicensed spectrum in the 6 GHz band to increase capacity for Wi-Fi and other unlicensed technologies.
