Principles for Reforming the National Flood Insurance Program

In a letter to the Senate, CFA hasĀ outlined principles by which consumers of flood insurance will measure the acceptability of any draft bill to reform the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). CFA requests that Congress carefully consider our comments in this letter, and we trust that our ideas will help Congress avoid several serious problems that some of the draft bills we have reviewed would create.
