Consumer Group Letter to OMB Urging Review of DOL's Investment Advice Definition
Consumer Federation of America as well as Fund Democracy, Public Citizen’s Congress Watch, AARP and Americans for Financial Reform strongly support the Department of Labor’s intent to amend its interpretation of “investment advice” under ERISA in order to ensure that Americans are adequately protected when provided advice about their retirement accounts.
