The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has been working hard to fulfill its mission to protect the public from unreasonable risks of injury or death associated with the use of consumer products. The CPSC has effectively been implementing the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) as well as addressing other hazards. They have made significant strides in consumer protection and could do even more with increased resources.
