CFA, Other Consumer Rights Groups Comment on Broadband & Internet Privacy Bills in Congress

CFA and other consumer and privacy rights groups sent a letter to key Congressional committees about House and Senate broadband and internet privacy bills that were introduced after the repeal of the Federal Communications Commission’s broadband privacy rules. In the letter, the groups said that they were encouraged that members of Congress were interested in addressing online privacy concerns and provided their views on the different approaches that the bills take.
