CFA and Other Groups Strongly Support FCC Proposed Rules to Protect Broadband Customers’ Privacy

Comments filed today by CFA and signed by 17 other consumer and privacy organizations strongly support the FCC’s proposed rules to protect the privacy of broadband and other telecommunications service customers and urge the agency to require opt-in consent for their personal information to be collected and used for any purposes other than providing the services that they have requested.
